Meetings

The Cultural Content Forum holds meetings around the world, in order to progress issues of shared interest to participants.

Attendance at these meetings is by invitation only, although expressions of interest are often invited by means of targeted calls.

Minster Lovell, Oxfordshire, UK. February 2005

Our fifth meeting will be held at The Mill and Old Swan Conference Centre, Minster Lovell, Oxfordshire, UK, over the weekend of 11-13 February 2005.

Banff, Alberta, Canada. February 2004

Our fourth meeting was held at the Banff Centre, in Banff, Alberta, Canada, over the weekend of 28-29 February 2004. The meeting was organised in association with the Canadian Culture Online Program (CCOP), eCulture and the Canadian Heritage Information Network (CHIN), on behalf of the Department of Canadian Heritage, with support from the UK's Resource and the US Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS). It was preceded by a one day workshop, "Beyond Productivity: Culture & Heritage Resources in the Digital Age", in Calgary, Alberta on Friday 27 February. The meeting is described in D-Lib Magazine.

Pistoia, Italy. March 2003

Our third meeting was held at the Villa Celle, outside the Italian town of Pistoia, and followed the EVA Florence conference. The meeting was organised in conjunction with EVA Florence, and received generous financial support from the Bank of Pistoia Foundation. It is described in D-Lib Magazine.

Washington DC, United States of America. March 2002

Our second meeting was held at the Brookings Institution in Washington, DC. The meeting was organised in conjunction with the Federal Institute of Museum & Library Services (IMLS), and is described in Cultivate Interactive.

London, United Kingdom. July 2001

Our first meeting was held at Tate Modern in London, and is described in Cultivate Interactive.
